Bakemonogatari

High school student Koyomi Araragi has managed to remain human after an encounter with a female vampire, thanks to Meme Oshino. The experience leaves him unusually close to the supernatural, and he soon begins meeting girls whose personal troubles are entangled with strange apparitions.

Hitagi Senjougahara has lost her weight, Suruga Kanbaru's arm takes on a monkey-like form, and Mayoi cannot find her way home despite repeated attempts. Rather than ignore these problems, Koyomi repeatedly becomes involved and tries to help, often relying on Oshino's knowledge. Bakemonogatari unfolds through a series of connected arcs in which individual mysteries, supernatural phenomena, and the lives of the people Koyomi meets become tightly intertwined.
