Biography
Hitagi Senjougahara is Koyomi Araragi's quiet classmate, a frail-looking girl who keeps others at a distance. Fiercely protective of her secret, she threatens anyone who discovers it and describes herself as a tsundere with a habitually cutting way of speaking.
Story spoilers
A mysterious encounter with a crab leaves Hitagi effectively weightless. At the end of the Mayoi Snail story, Hitagi confesses her love to Koyomi and begins a relationship with him. After the events of Tsukihi Phoenix, having overcome all of her trauma, she becomes noticeably more cheerful while retaining a softened version of her sharp tongue.
