Tatsuya Oishi is a director, storyboard artist and animator who began at Studio Junio and Gainax before working extensively with Shaft. He made his directorial debut on Cyborg 009: The Cyborg Soldier, served as chief director of Bakemonogatari and directed the Kizumonogatari film trilogy.
