Kamisama Kiss

Kamisama Kiss follows Nanami Momozono, who is left homeless after her father disappears to escape gambling debts. When she helps a stranger troubled by a dog, he offers her his home in return. Nanami accepts, only to discover that the "home" is actually a shrine and that she has unwittingly inherited his duties as a local deity. Her new position brings unfamiliar responsibilities, supernatural dangers, and a difficult former familiar named Tomoe.
