Biography
Nanami Momozono is a teenager abandoned by her father because of his gambling debts and mocked by classmates for her poverty. After Mikage transfers his shrine and position to her, she becomes a local land god despite having little spiritual power, working to balance divine duties with school.
Story spoilers
Nanami falls in love with Tomoe and is initially rejected because a human-demon romance is taboo. Tomoe later realizes that he loves her, awakening his curse and memories. It is also hinted, rather than confirmed, that Nanami may descend from Tomoe's former lover Yukiji.
