Hanamonogatari

With Koyomi Araragi and Hitagi Senjougahara having graduated, Suruga Kanbaru remains at Naoetsu Private High School with fewer familiar faces around her. When rumors spread about a mysterious “Devil” capable of solving any problem, Kanbaru worries that her own Monkey's Paw may somehow be responsible and investigates. She instead discovers Rouka Numachi, a former basketball rival who now offers free advice to troubled people after a leg injury ended her playing career. Kanbaru initially sees Numachi's behavior as dishonest rather than dangerous, but an unexpected change to her own left hand gives the mystery a more personal significance.
