A Certain Magical Index

In a city populated by scientifically developed superhuman students, magic also exists alongside advanced psychic research. Touma Kamijou possesses Imagine Breaker in his right hand, an ability that can negate magical, psychic, and divine powers while doing nothing to improve his persistent bad luck. His life changes when he finds Index Librorum Prohibitorum, a young Church of England nun, hanging from his balcony. Her mind contains the Index-Librorum-Prohibitorum, a collection of magical texts removed from circulation by the Church, drawing Touma directly into the magical side of his world.
