Thorkell

Thorkell is a supporting character in Vinland Saga, a Jomsviking general, and the brother of the Jomsviking chief. He is a towering warrior who loves combat so much that he defects from the Danish army to fight as an English mercenary, believing battles against fellow Vikings will provide a greater challenge. Thorkell respects Thors and takes a particular interest in Thorfinn, whom he fights twice. He normally carries a pair of axes, but his greatest advantage is his extraordinary physical strength.
