Shinpachi Shimura
志村新八Shin-chan / Shin / Pattsuan / Megane / Pachie
Biography
Shinpachi Shimura works under Gintoki to learn the ways of the samurai, though he seems more focused on helping Gintoki pay the rent than on learning. He is also captain of Otsu's Imperial Guard, a pop singer's fan club. Despite his meek appearance, Shinpachi is a capable practitioner of his family's Kakidō-Ryu swordsmanship.
