Shingen Kishitani

岸谷森厳

Biography

Shingen Kishitani is Shinra's eccentric father. He wears a gas mask because he says Tokyo's air is filthy and habitually spins a pen in his right hand. His manner can shift from childish to intimidating, and he once offered Celty a place to stay in exchange for allowing him to perform surgery on her.

He also claims that Nebula executives are interested in Celty and that this brought him back to Japan from America.

Story spoilers

Shingen is revealed to have stolen Celty's head by using the cursed blade Saika to sever the bond between her head and body, later passing the head to Namie's father.
