朝比奈みくる

Biography

Mikuru Asahina is a shy, kind, and easily flustered high-school student who is brought into the SOS Brigade against her will. Despite her timid nature and occasional clumsiness, she can be surprisingly resilient when situations become uncomfortable.

Story spoilers

Mikuru is actually a time traveler from the future assigned to observe Haruhi. An older version of Mikuru occasionally appears to help steer the timeline, and Kyon distinguishes the two as Asahina-san (Big) and Asahina-san (Small).
