The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya follows Kyon, an ordinary high school student who has largely abandoned any belief in the supernatural. That changes when he meets Haruhi Suzumiya, whose fascination with aliens, time travelers, espers, and other strange phenomena leads her to create the SOS Brigade. Kyon is pulled into the new club alongside quiet Yuki Nagato, timid Mikuru Asahina, and the ever-smiling Itsuki Koizumi. Under Haruhi's unpredictable leadership, the group becomes involved in a series of increasingly unusual adventures centered on the very mysteries Kyon had stopped believing in.
