Masaomi Kida
紀田正臣Biography
Masaomi Kida is Mikado's childhood friend and an Ikebukuro resident who helps guide him around the city. Easygoing and described by Mikado as charismatic, he can seem foolhardy and appears to know many local residents and enjoys flirting, usually without much success.
Story spoilers
Masaomi was once the leader of the Yellow Scarves and was called “Shogun,” though he seems to dislike the title. In the novels, he leaves Ikebukuro with Saki, uses the chat name “Bakyura” to stay in contact with Mikado, and eventually returns after becoming involved with Saki and Izaya.
