Biography
Kyousuke Kousaka is a seventeen-year-old high-school student with average grades, family background, and appearance. He attends school with his childhood friend Manami and plans to attend the same local university as her. Kind-hearted and intensely loyal, Kyousuke is willing to take risks for his friends and his younger sister Kirino despite the distance that exists between the siblings at the beginning of the story.
Story spoilers
Kyousuke later dates Kuroneko for a time before she ends the relationship. His parents also make him live alone temporarily, ostensibly because of concerns about the siblings, though they later reveal the move was intended to motivate him to study.
