After Dai-Gurren captures Dai-Gunzan, she works in its control tower monitoring radar. After the time skip, Kinon becomes one of Rossiu's strongest supporters. When Simon is sentenced to death but still offers to defend the city, she volunteers to pilot Gurren with explosives rigged inside the cockpit, threatening to detonate them if he tries to escape. Her loyalty to Rossiu rests on her belief that his harsh decisions cause him genuine pain rather than serving personal ambition.
