Katakuriko Matsudaira

Katakuriko Matsudaira is a high-ranking Bakufu official and police superintendent who oversees the Shinsengumi as Kondo Isao's immediate superior. Violent and fond of firearms and heavier weapons, he earns the nickname “God of Destruction” for solving problems with overwhelming explosive force. He is also intensely protective of his daughter Kuriko and frequently accompanies the young shogun on outings.
