Biography
Cross Marian is Allen's teacher, a scientist, and one of the Black Order's five Exorcist Generals. He has a habit of accumulating debts and making Allen work them off, and Allen's memories of him are frequently unpleasant. Cross spends years away from headquarters without corresponding.
Story spoilers
Cross is later revealed to possess the unusual ability to convert Akuma and command them. He is also believed to have a connection to controlling Noah's Ark, though that claim remains uncertain, and he uniquely carries two Anti-Akuma weapons: Grave of Maria and Judgement. He later goes missing after speaking with Allen about his connection to the 14th.
