Story spoilers
After Mana dies, a grieving Allen is manipulated into turning him into an Akuma. The resulting encounter leaves Allen cursed through his left eye, turns his hair white, and awakens his left arm as an Anti-Akuma weapon.
Later, after his Innocence appears to be destroyed, Allen regains control of it in its fully invoked form, officially designated Crowned Clown, a body-armored Innocence with a jester-like appearance.
