Trigun

Trigun follows Vash the Stampede, a notorious gunman blamed for leaving entire towns in ruins across a desert world. His enormous bounty attracts hunters who expect a ruthless outlaw, yet encounters with Vash reveal a very different man. Despite his destructive reputation, there is no proof that he has killed anyone. He is a pacifist, an eccentric doughnut lover, and far less threatening in personality than the legend surrounding him suggests.
