In 1532, twelve-year-old Esteban leaves Spain to search for his parents and learn about his origins. He meets Zia, an Inca girl whose medallion matches his, and Tao. Together they explore the New World in search of the Cities of Gold, hoping the journey will lead them to their lost parents.
