Shiki

Shiki is set during a brutally hot summer in Sotoba, an isolated village of roughly 1300 people. A series of unexplained deaths begins just as a mysterious family moves into a long-abandoned mansion nearby. The unease deepens when fashionable villager Megumi Shimizu disappears after supposedly visiting the newcomers, prompting the entire village to search for her.
