Land of the Lustrous

Land of the Lustrous is set in a distant world inhabited by crystalline beings called Gems, who defend themselves from Lunarians seeking to shatter and collect them. Phosphophyllite, or Phos, is a fragile young Gem who desperately wants to contribute to the fighting but is instead assigned to create an encyclopedia. During that task, Phos meets Cinnabar, whose corrosive body has left them isolated on night patrol. Seeing Cinnabar's unhappiness gives Phos a new goal: find a worthwhile role for both of them.
