A young Taiwanese assassin known as Glass Heart survives a near-fatal fall after receiving a heart transplant. Strange dreams during recovery lead her to Japan to seek her donor. Angel Heart shares characters with City Hunter but tells a parallel-universe story rather than a sequel.
