Shigeji Ogino

Shigeji Ogino created films as an independent artist and led Japan's small-gauge and amateur film communities. From 1928 through 1984, Ogino produced more than 400 works in 9.5mm, 16mm and 8mm formats, including experimental stop-motion animation, and won awards in Japan and abroad. Director credits include AN EXPRESSION, Propagate, Rhythm and A Day after a Hundred Years.
