Satoshi Dezaki is a director who worked at Art Fresh before becoming a freelancer in 1969. His early work included scripting Attack No.1 and storyboarding Kyojin no Hoshi. He founded Magic Bus in 1977 and also directed They Were 11, Mad Bull 34 and Urusei Yatsura Movie 5: The Final Chapter.
