Atsushi Wada is an animation director. Wada graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University, Image Forum Institute of Moving Image, and Tokyo University of the Arts, and began creating short animation through self-study in 2002. Wada's work considers comfortable movement and the Japanese concept of ma. Directing credits include In a pig's eye, The Mechanism of Spring, and The Great Rabbit.
