Yuuri Katsuki

Yuuri Katsuki is a figure skater who began training at a young age while aspiring to become like his idol, Victor Nikiforov. Rather than relying on prodigious talent, Yuuri builds his skills through rigorous practice, developing strong stamina, a distinctive sense of rhythm and unique footwork. Competitive pressure and past setbacks badly damage his confidence, but he remains regarded as Japan's top skater.

Kind, sensitive and mild-mannered, Yuuri is introverted and often struggles to open up to others.
