Yuumi Hoshino is a kind, shy girl in Kouichi's class who loves reading and seems to have few friends. She has liked Kouichi for more than two years, and he likes her too, but both are too shy to confess.
Story spoilers
With Mao's help, Yuumi and Kouichi begin dating. Their relationship initially seems strong, but Yuumi later learns she must move and change schools. After Mao confesses her own feelings to Kouichi, Yuumi senses that his love for her is fading.
