Yuuji Endou

Yuuji Endou is a predatory loan shark with yakuza ties who lends money to desperate borrowers at illegal interest rates. He tracks down Kaiji over a loan Kaiji cosigned for Furuhata and, recognizing that repayment is impossible, offers him a place aboard the gambling ship Espoir as a chance to clear the debt.
