Yuri Lowell

Yuri Lowell is a twenty-one-year-old swordsman from Zaphias's Lower Quarter and the childhood best friend of Flynn Scifo. Growing up as a commoner leaves him deeply distrustful of the empire's nobility and inclined to side with ordinary people. He and Flynn once joined the Imperial Knights together, but Yuri leaves after only a few months because he cannot tolerate their corruption. In battle he uses swords and axes, though axes slow him down.
