Story spoilers
Yuito was originally born without powers and was used as a test subject in an old OSF hospital to awaken them. His true ability is Gravikinesis, which acts like Psychokinesis and enables the Red String. The OSF member who saved him in childhood was Kasane Randall, who unknowingly shared her power with him while using the Red String.
