Biography
Youko Shiraki is the main female protagonist of Tomorrow's Joe and comes from a wealthy family with strong ties to boxing. Polite, graceful, and charitable, she contrasts sharply with characters shaped by poverty and hardship. Joe distrusts her kindness and resents what he sees as her interference.

Over time she becomes one of the people who understands Joe best. Youko gradually develops romantic feelings for Joe and, before his world-title fight with José Mendoza, confesses her love and begs him not to fight for her sake.
