You Miyagi is a thirty-five-year-old literature professor at M University, where Hiroki serves as his assistant. Playful despite his senior position, Miyagi is genuinely friendly with Hiroki but has a bitter, emotionally distant view of romance.
Story spoilers
Miyagi was once married to the dean's daughter but is divorced. He remains haunted by an unrequited love for his late homeroom teacher. His outlook is later challenged by Shinobu, his former brother-in-law, who pursues his love and claims it is destiny.
