Yoshino Takatsuki

Yoshino Takatsuki is a tall fifth-grader in Shuichi's class who wishes to be a boy and generally avoids traditionally feminine clothing. After befriending Shuichi, Yoshino adopts a short, boyish haircut and sometimes dresses in a male school uniform outside school. As puberty progresses, Yoshino becomes increasingly uncomfortable with bodily changes, while later taking up basketball in junior high.
