Yonekuni Madarame

Yonekuni Madarame is a 17-year-old third-year student with a rough, solitary personality. He once excelled at swimming and even set a 200-meter record, but a weak vegetative system forced him to quit despite his love of the sport. He works part-time at a local pub and asks Shiro to be his “temporary friend” because he occasionally needs someone to talk to.

Yonekuni is a crocodile, described as the highest grade of reptiles; his father is a dragon and his mother a snake. He later recognizes how badly he has treated others and falls in love with Shiro.
