Yayoi Houzuki

Yayoi Houzuki is the main protagonist of Dark Gathering, a young girl with a spiritual constitution who collects dangerous ghosts to build enough power to rescue her mother's spirit from the Spectre of Death. Her obsession with the occult is driven by that goal, but she retains a strong moral compass, punishing murderous ghosts while showing kindness to those corrupted against their will. She prioritizes others' safety and has a strong desire to protect her friends and family.
