Yato
夜トYatty / Amagiri no Mikoto / Jersey / Drippy
Biography
Yato is an obscure god and one of Noragami's three main protagonists. Once labeled a God of Calamity and Depression, he dreams of becoming a famous deity worshipped by everyone. Mischievous, crude and unpredictable, he can also be childish and gullible, regularly fantasizing about followers, wealth and a grand shrine.
Story spoilers
Yato's real name is revealed to be Yaboku. Sakura misread one of the kanji in his name as the katakana "to," creating the familiar name Yato.
