Yami no Kemono

Yami no Kemono, also called the Hellhound or Beast of Darkness, is an ominous presence that appears to Guts and pushes him toward increasingly cruel choices. Because it can appear even where evil spirits cannot enter, its nature is uncertain; it may be a hallucination or some part of Guts's own mind. It may represent his rage and hatred toward the God Hand, the Apostles and Griffith.
