Biography

Waver Velvet is a 19-year-old Clock Tower student and a mage from a three-generation magical lineage. Intelligent but underappreciated by his peers and lecturers, he argues that a mage can improve through effort, experience, and knowledge rather than relying solely on inherited potential. Kayneth dismisses his thesis and tears it up.

The Fourth Holy Grail War changes Waver's life dramatically. He later bears the El-Melloi family's mantle as Lord El-Melloi II and becomes a renowned Clock Tower lecturer, exceptionally skilled at recognizing and developing other magi's hidden potential.
