Biography
Vincent Phantomhive is Ciel's father and the head of the Phantomhive family seen in flashbacks. Charismatic, he drew the attention of both Rachel and her younger sister Angelina, and his compliments about Angelina's red hair helped inspire her signature color.
Story spoilers
Vincent also served as Queen Victoria's watchdog and was capable of manipulating others despite his kind, welcoming manner. On Ciel's tenth birthday, Vincent and Rachel were killed in a fire that destroyed the manor while Ciel was kidnapped.
