Biography
Ukyo Kuonji is Ranma's childhood friend and a practitioner of okonomiyaki-style martial arts who runs the restaurant Ucchan's. Years earlier, Genma took Ukyo's father's food cart and abandoned the arrangement between their families, leaving Ukyo behind.
Story spoilers
Ranma had known Ukyo as a child without realizing she was a girl. After discovering her identity during a later fight, the two reconcile and Ukyo falls in love with him again, even becoming willing to give up her restaurant to marry him.
