Tsuyoshi Maki

Tsuyoshi Maki leads Section Nine, a brain-scanning unit that can recover up to five years of memories to investigate murders. Serious and composed at work, he particularly favors newcomer Aoki and has a youthful appearance that repeatedly surprises him. Rumors say Maki once shot his best friend, though even the alleged connection between that event and his lack of smiling is only speculation.
