Tsukushi Makino comes from one of the few low-income families represented at the prestigious Eitoku school. Quiet and nearly friendless at first, she reveals a stubborn, hardworking streak when she stands up to F4 leader Tsukasa Domyouji after he threatens one of her friends.
Story spoilers
Makino's defiance earns her a red tag and makes her a target of F4 harassment, but she continues fighting back and eventually befriends the group. She initially has feelings for Rui Hanazawa, then gradually grows closer to Domyouji and falls in love with him.
