Biography

Tori Aoi is head of Musashi Ariadust Academy's Supreme Federation and president of the student council. His grades and athletic ability are average, and even he accepts his reputation as an incompetent leader, yet his irrepressibly cheerful personality earns genuine respect. Tori frequently plays the fool and has an extensive repertoire of strip jokes.

Story spoilers

After Horizon's death, Tori makes a contract with Asama Shrine that lets him share what he owns with others, with sadness explicitly excluded because violating that condition would kill him. Later, as a Musashi viceroy with quarter-governance status, he can share an enormous energy supply with his companions. Despite his foolish image, Tori repeatedly proves to be a cunning leader, while privately carrying guilt over Horizon's death even ten years later.
