Tomari Kurusu is Hazumu's longtime childhood friend and has often protected Hazumu from bullies. A tomboy who has little interest in traditionally feminine pastimes, Tomari belongs to the Track and Field Club and enjoys physical activity.
Story spoilers
After Hazumu's transformation, Tomari sometimes seems jealous that Hazumu spends more time with Yasuna and eventually appears to develop romantic feelings for Hazumu herself.
