Biography
Tokiko Mima, usually called Key, is the granddaughter of Mima Murao and Mima Tomiko. She searches for 30,000 friends in the hope of restoring her humanity.
Story spoilers
Key, like her mother and grandmother, has strong supernatural powers. Dr. Mima suppresses both those powers and her humanity with a gel derived from her mother's life force, encouraging Key to believe she is a robot in order to hide her from Ajo. Extreme emotional stress can briefly awaken her abilities, while her effect on PPOR robots and her capacity to produce large amounts of high-quality gel make her a target.
