Teru Kurebayashi
紅林照Biography
Teru Kurebayashi is sixteen and is left alone after her brother's death with the cell phone he gave her. Through it, Teru communicates with a mysterious protector calling himself DAISY, who offers encouragement and help from a distance. At the beginning of the manga, Teru is bullied by the student council; after a mysterious ball scares the bullies away, Teru tries to return it and accidentally throws it through a school window. This leads to meeting janitor Tasuku Kurosaki, who has Teru work off the damage by doing janitorial duties.
Story spoilers
Teru's negative feelings toward Kurosaki gradually become romantic. Teru also grows increasingly suspicious that Kurosaki is DAISY and that the phone left by her brother might be more than it appears.
