Tawashi

Inspector Tawashi, also called Inspector Gumshoe, is a recurring police officer in the Tetsuwan Atom mythos. Surly but dedicated, he is defined by his suspicion of others and his strong dislike of robots, extending his distrust even to Astro Boy. His most frequent appearances are in Astro Boy, though he also appears in several other series.
