Tarou Hanaukyou

Tarou Hanaukyou is a short, quiet, patient middle-school boy who inherits his mysterious grandfather's home at fourteen. Surrounded by exceptionally eager maids, he treats them as friends and family rather than servants and is uncomfortable with excessive fawning. Though often aloof, Tarou can behave with striking maturity when circumstances demand it, and he is openly attracted to Mariel.
