Tanzaburou Toujima

Tanzaburou Toujima is a 40-year-old man who dreams of becoming a Kamen Rider. He supports himself with part-time jobs and trains so intensely in the mountains that he can fight a bear on equal terms.

Faced with the fear of dying alone, Tanzaburou sells his treasured Kamen Rider collection so it will not simply become trash. At a summer festival, however, he encounters a robber dressed as Shocker, buys a Kamen Rider No. 1 mask and decides to fight evil while calling himself Kamen Rider.
